Roslin
Youth Project 2006
Volunteers
In 2003 the Rural Voices Study was carried out and
highlighted a number of issues in the Roslin area
in relation to public transport and youth facilities
and services. In conjunction with Roslin/Bilston Community
Council and Roslin Miners Club, Lothian and Borders
Police are in the process of establishing a youth
facility for young people in Roslin.
Volunteers are urgently required from the local community
to assist with the supervision of the facility on
a rotational basis. Appropriate training and disclosure
checks are available through Midlothian Council.
This
is YOUR opportunity to contribute and make a difference
to YOUR COMMUNITY. Do you have a small amount of
spare time on your hands - not necessarily every
week? Do you have a skill you could contribute to
the club on a permanent or temporary basis? Do you
have an interest in volunteer youth work? If the
answer to any of these questions is yes please contact.
