This section of the website aims to inform local people of the local law and order situation, and allow the police to issue requests for help with their work.

Website for Roslin Neighbourhood Watch

Meetings are held on the last Thursday of every month in the British Legion at 7.30pm

New Website for Reporting Youth Disorder and Anti-Social Behaviour

Penicuik Youth Initiative remote reporting form is now available here. See the link at the top left hand frame. This form should be used to report incidents of youth disorder or Anti-Social Behaviour. It does not form the basis of a formal Police Report but will be used by Midlothian Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team to assess youth youth disorder patterns and identify regular participants.

  • January saw the initial meeting for the Roslin CAPP which will now meet on a monthly basis and involve key members of the community for Roslin and Bilston meeting to discuss the issues that affect the quality of life for those in both communities and agreeing actions on a monthly basis to attempt to address these issues. This is a means for all community partners to be involved in solving these problems.
  • Please continue to call police regarding issues surrounding licenced premises with Roslin and Bilston. L& B Police Licencing Department are only to happy to receive information from a variety of sources concerning what goes on within licenced premises and they will take a robust approach with the licencee and liaise with the licencing board where appropriate.
