1 Site Tour
Tour of site and newly lined area

2 Environmental Issues
Flies
One issue of flies was raised. WRG spayed at the beginning and end of July.

3 Site operations
Capping starts 18th Sept in old cell.
Grass seeding at the rear of site on slope carried out in August.
New cell is ready to drop into for winter to provide protection.
Lifetime of site is early 2010. There are no more Govt waste targets between now and 2010 so no anticipation of drop off in tonnage. Only the leachate management and gas management will continue.

SEPA had received 5 complaints, 3 in July for odours and flies
