PREVIOUS MINUTES
The minutes from the January meeting were proposed by D.Hogg and
Seconded by M. Ewart

POLICE REPORT
Roslin: 2 reported crimes - 1 Roslin Glenn, 1 Theft from Car
Bilston: 4 reported crimes - Shop - Theft, Damage to car - Allermuir
Ave, Theft - Myrtle Cres, Damage - Bilston Church

ENVIRONMENT REPORT
Nothing to Report
7 TRANSPORT REPORT
A meeting has been arranged with Scotmid concerning transport and
Parking problems
8 CORRESPONDENCE
Letter regarding issues from Community Council Meetings. This was
discussed and the Community Council have undertaken to take steps
to rectify some of these issues. A letter of reply will be drafted
for approval of the Council members.
Email
received from Master Assoc for Community Councils regarding the
£35 charge to register for the Data Protection Act. This will
be taken to the Federation for discussion.
Letter
to Mark Kenmuir read out regarding the proposed leasing of one of
the local shops for a Community Café.
Letter
from the Federation of Community Service - seeking ideas for uses
for community service orders. Someone will be invited to a future
meeting.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
It was reported that the bus stop outside Sandy Gordon's property
had been moved to a position in front of his window. The safety
aspects of moving it again will be looked into.
It was reported that the temporary lights are still causing problems
on the pedestrian crossing. Requested they be moved.
The closed meeting with the Roslin Bus Users group has been arranged
for Mon 10th March in Roslin Pavilion at 7.30pm.
Fiona Renton gave her apologies concerning the January meeting.
She assured the Council that this would not happen again. Her apologies
were accepted.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 4th March at 8 pm at Roslin
Pavilion.
