2 PREVIOUS MINUTES
The minutes from the June meeting were proposed by M. Ewart and
Seconded by S. Hamilton

3 POLICE REPORT
22 Reported Crimes in July - 15 solved. 4/10 - Roslin, 11/12 - Bilston
There were 3 incidents of indecent exposure reported in Roslin.-2 on the 23rd and 1 on the 24th July - information is requested.
4 TREASURERS REPORT
There was £1183.43 on 31st July.

A letter has been written to I Stewart in reply to his queries but nothing else

11 ANY OTHER BUSINESS
A letter of resignation was read out from Julie Collins. This was accepted with much sadness as Julie has been a great asset to the Community Council in her years of service.
M.Davidson[Jura Consultants] representing Rosslyn Chapel asked if there was anything they could do for the village and a better bus service was requested. He was asked if there was any way that they could try and help to improve the service.
I. Brown requested that Midlothian Council enforce the cleaning of the common stairs in Station Road. Councillor R Imrie di not think that it was the Council's responsibility as the properties belong to Castle Rock or Private owners but he would go and check who would be responsible.
Someone from Midlothian Council Transport Division will be asked to attend the November meeting to discuss parking issues in Station Road, Roslin.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 4th Sep 2007 at 8p.m. in Bilston
Pavilion.
