2 POLICE REPORT
There have been 17 reported crimes during June and July with 6 crimes solved.

3 TREASURER'S REPORT
The balance on 31 May 2006 was £853.33

7.6 Jane Kennedy, erection of 2 advertising hoardings at Front Entrance, Wallace buildings, Roslin Biotechnology Centre. No opposition.
7.7 Mr and Mrs Grossart, extension to dwellinghouse at 40 Penicuik Road. No opposition.
7.8 Stewart and Nerina Dewar, formation of driveway at 45 Penicuik Road. No opposition.
7.9 Rosslyn Chapel Trust, change if use of part if field for coach and car parking (temporary period 2 years) and erection of temporary toilets and associated works at Land to the north of Chapel Loan. No opposition.

7 ANY OTHER BUSINESS
7.1 The committee has agreed to donate £75 to both Roslin Neighbourhood Watch and Bilston Neighbourhood Watch groups.
7.2 A member of the public was concerned about the beer garden that has recently been installed at Bilston Inn. The member of the public has been intimidated and offended by the amount of shouting, arguing and swearing not only during the day but also late into the night. Cllr K. McIntosh stated this was a planning issue that he shall look into the matter.
7.3 M. Ewart shall no longer hold the position of secretary after the AGM however he will remain a committee member and will continue to monitor the Community Council post and planning.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 4 September at 8pm in Roslin Community Hall.
