Minutes of the Community Council meeting held on 2 May 2006 at 8pm in Bilston Pavilion.

1 APOLOGIES
Apologies have been received from S. Hamilton.

2 POLICE REPORT
2.1 There have been a total of 9 crimes reported. 5 crimes in Roslin and 6 crimes in Bilston. Of all the crimes 3 have been solved.
2.2 The Neighbourhood Watch projects in Roslin and Bilston are both up and running.
2.3 There are a good list of names being put forward for the Roslin Youth Project. The final advert will appear in the next issue of the Advertiser.

3 TREASURER'S REPORT
The balance on 30 April 2006 was £520.82.

4 ENVIRONMENT REPORT
Nothing to report.

5 TRANSPORT REPORT
F. Renton attended a strategy meeting with feedback from local communities. The meeting dealt with public transport as well as walking, and cycling. The issue of buses was also raised.
No date had been set yet for the building of the Park and Ride at Straiton.

7.2 R. W. Ferguson, outline application for the erection of two qorkshop/offices at Pentlandfield Business Park, Bush Farm Road. No opposition.
7.3 Mis K Duncan, installation of rooflights at 27 Station Road. No opposition.

Presentation and question session with C. Sanderson from WREN.

9 ANY OTHER BUSINESS
Meetings are to be held regarding the change of staffing level at Bilston Annex.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 6 June at 8pm in Roslin Community Hall.
