1 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MINUTES
The minutes of the June meeting were proposed by D. Hogg and seconded by J. Collins.

2 APOLOGIES
Apologies were received from P.C. Murie

3 POLICE REPORT
3.1 No report available.
3.2 P.C. Murie would like to invite members of the public and Community Council to a meeting regarding congestion parking in Bilston. The meeting will be held on 23 June at 9.00am in Bilston Miners Club. Minutes of this meeting are attached.

4 TREASURER'S REPORT
4.1 The Balance on 31 May was £950.47

5 TRANSPORT REPORT
5.1 F. Renton informed the committee that Midlothian Federation of Community Council's has setup a transport sub-committee that will meet to discuss bus routes and to take transport forward. The sub-committee will hopefully resurrect what has been done with the Bus Action Group but with a louder voice.

6 BILSTON CLINIC
6.1 Representatives from NHS Lothian and Dr. J. McDonald discussed the closure of Bilston Clinic with the public and committee. Dr. McDonald explained the advantages of the new premises and how it is unfeasible to continue with the Bilston Clinic. The representatives also took question from the public and committee.

7 ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR IN ROSLIN
G. Stewart, P. Stewart and A. Stewart raised the issue of anti-social behaviour in Roslin during evenings and weekends. They reported crowds gathering at middle bus stop in Main Street, speeding into the village, hand-brake turns in the middle of the day and threatening and violent behaviour. P. Stewart to write a draft letter for the Chief Inspector at Penicuik Police station and email it to D. Hogg who will sign it on behalf of the Community Council.

8.1 Grosvenor of Technopole Investment Ltd. Erection of external lighting at Bush House, Bush Farm Road. No opposition.
8.2 Mrs P Campbell. Erection of two storey extension at 7 Lockhart Terrace, Roslin. No opposition
8.3 Mrs M Slight. Erection of conservatory at 16 Moat View, Roslin. No opposition.
8.4 Mr Joe Avent. Erection of conservatory at 33 Station Road, Roslin. No opposition.
8.5 Mr and Mrs Needham. Erection of two storey extension to dwellinghouse at 16A Manse Road, Roslin. No opposition.
8.6 Charles Young. Change of use to children's play area with play equipment and miniature railway at 32A Seafield Moor Road, Bilston. No opposition.
8.7 Change Homes Ltd. Erection of dwellinghouse, upgrading of access and associated works at Garage Site between 8 and 10 Stanley Avenue, Bilston. No opposition.
8.8 Ms C Halliday. Extension to dwellinghouse at 14/16 station Road, Rolsin. No opposition.
8.9 Rosslyn Chapel Trust. Erection of Temporary timber buildings at land at Rosslyn Chapel, Chapel Loan, Roslin.
8.10 Mr and Mrs R Easton. Formation of driveway at 14 Allermuir Avenue, Bilston. No opposition.
8.11 Mr and Mrs Hulton. Alterations to dwellinghouse at The Old Waterhouse, Rosslyn Castle Road, Roslin. No opposition.
8.12 Mr and Mrs B Hayes. Extension to dwellinghouse and Installation of dormer window at 63 Castlelaw Crescent, Bilston. No opposition.

9.1 With regards to installing a loop system in Roslin Pavilion, Midlothian Council are looking into the matter. It may be possible that the system may need to be shared with other facilities in Midlothian.

The next meeting will be held on 2 August at 8.00pm in Bilston Pavilion.
