Minutes
of previous meeting were proposed by S Kay and seconded by M Gordon.

3 Police Report
3.1
In the last month there were 23 reported incidents in Roslin and
Bilston as follows
16 Roslin
7 Bilston
With 11 out of 26 last reported incidents have been solved.
3.2 The complaints of speeding along the A703 at Seafield Road have
been investigated. Speed traps showed average speed on this stretch
of road to be 32 mph. This has been deemed as non-priority. No further
action will be taken.
3.3 There will be police involvement in Sunday's parade for traffic
and crowd control at the Cross where the carol singing and hot drinks
will be served.
3.4 PC Murie showed the CC a new layout for future reports in the
form of a handout. The proposal was agreed.

Website.
J Sharp to take over from Martyn as the website gatekeeper. He will
keep the site updated with news, practical information, police link
(possible) and it was agreed that all minutes and agendas of CC
meetings would be sent to him.

Treasurers Report
5.1 The balance at 25th November 2004 is £1102.14
5.2 There are no transactions outstanding.

Environmental Report
6.1 There have been concerns regarding the smells emitting from
Oatslie Landfill Site. Robert Whitney suggested that the CC should
be represented on the group that has been set up to co ordinate
liaison between the community and the owners/operators of the site.
This group meets every 2 months and the community web site could
be used to keep the public advised of any developments.
6.2 There have been no local objections to the closure of Bilston
Medical Clinic.

Midlothian Local Plan review.
Fiona and Archie are to attend the next meeting on 16th December
at Greenbank School.
